Graphics Pack
nopixel-visuals, the visual overhaul behind the nopixel look. Sold on its own and included in the nopixel Assets Pack.
The Graphics Pack is one resource, nopixel-visuals ("nopixel - Visual Overhaul"): the timecycle, weather and rendering data that gives the nopixel servers their look. It is a data-only resource (plus a small client script for cloud and replacement handling) and applies server-wide as soon as it starts. It is sold on its own as the Graphics Pack, whose page has screenshots and the trailer, and is included in the nopixel Assets Pack.
Install it like any other package (Installation) with this line in server.cfg:
ensure nopixel-visualsWhat it replaces
| Data | Files |
|---|---|
| Base timecycles | timecycle_mods_1 to _5, _nv, _mb_fp, _mb_tp, underwater_deep |
| Weather timecycles | blizzard, clear, clearing, clouds, extrasunny, foggy, halloween, neutral, overcast, rain, smog, snow, snowlight, thunder, xmas |
| Weather particles | emitter and render definitions for blizzard, clearing, firefly, hurricane and the other weather types |
| Visual settings | visualsettings.dat, hbaosettings.xml |
| World | water.xml, time.xml, weather.xml, v_clouds.ytyp, level gta5.meta |
| Vehicles | carvariations.meta, vehiclemodelsets.meta, vehicles.meta (ambient traffic tweaks) |
| Peds | witnessinformation.meta |
Every interior in the nopixel Assets Pack ships its own TIMECYCLEMOD_FILE for interior lighting, and those were tuned against these visuals. Interiors still work without nopixel-visuals, but the lighting in their screenshots assumes it is on.
Compatibility
Run only one visual overhaul. NVE, QuantV, VisualV and similar packs replace the same files; combining them gives you whichever loaded last for each file and usually broken weather. If you want to compare, comment out the ensure nopixel-visuals line rather than deleting the package.
